“God willing, He will also provide the means” (Ven. Fr. Gregory OFM)

Between 1871 and 1872 Fr. Gregorio was responsible for the Venetian Minority Province. It is the Minister General himself, Fr. Bernardino Dal Vago, who calls him to this important task. For Fr. Gregorio, there are years of intense work ahead of him because he must serve his confreres and, at the same time, the Tertiaries of Gemona. Frequently he must leave Gemona to meet his friars. Moving to the province, Fr.Gregory again faced the obstacle of economic hardship and also committed to solving important issues, in this case even more complex because of the reduced number of religious, especially priests. For the new vocations Fr. Gregory entrusted himself totally to the Lord. He hoped to welcome some young people from the Balkan countries in need of help.
