Legacy of Our Founder the Venerable Fr. Gregorio Fioravanti OFM

Today, April 24, 2022 we recall the bicentenary of the birth of our Founder, the Venerable Father Gregory Fioravanti ofm, we thank and praise the Lord for the countless wonders he has worked in our Religious Family.

Let us recall some of his teachings that are very dear to us and also precious in the apostolic service in the field of education, pastoral care and health care:

  • Loving and caring for fraternal life and being united by the bond of charity
  • Do the will of God the Father with humility
  • Be faithful and obedient
  • Commit ourselves every day to holiness through the humble and passionate fulfilment of our common mission: that of always transmitting the love of Christ the Saviour, welcoming in us the voice of every brother and sister who, in multiple ways and expressions, still await the light and peace.
  • Manifest a concrete faith of His loving presence and a spirit of minority, simple and joyful.
  • Express an attitude of meekness and modesty.
  • Live in authentic fraternal service, free and penitent.
  • Manifest an ardent availability for the Kingdom

Let us ask the Lord for the grace to allow us to discover everywhere the footsteps of His divine presence, to bless and always thank the providence of the Father, to be able to live every day among ourselves and with our brothers and sisters the gift of reconciliation with the redeeming power of the Paschal Mystery.
